some people may say i love you at least once a day whereas some people may only say it once in their life so i think it depends on the person's personality

l can't count how many times i said to friends and family,but i can count, i said it once to a girl and i really mean it but i got turn down =[ so pretty much i didn't even try to say to any girls after that. anyway love is important,you can't just say you love her or him without real meaning, and i believe your question is asking about relationship between your partner.

Every time i talk to my fiance I say the word i love you, I also say this word to my little cousins.

I haven't said it in a long time.  In high school and college, I said it just to manipulate girls, but that eventually lead to a lot of hurt feelings.  Now, I realize those word aren't just to be thrown out there.
