Question:

How many times does a goal happen when you leave the room?

I would like a penny for every time it happens to me.. just gone out the room to get a drink, came back and saw a replay of Vela scoring the equilizer. When Arsenal are behind if I'm not at the match I'm tempted to go out of the room but it doesn't seem to happen like that only when i really need to go out.. what important goals or otherwise have you missed because you went to the loo etc.

  6. LMFAO have a star

you are right its like the team is waiting for you to leave to score it is so unfair

i was watching Juventus play 0-0 at the half then when i went to eat all of a sudden 2 -0 i was like WTF!!

i agree you are on the money with this one all the way.

  7. i tink wats worst is when u flick over 2 sky sports news, just 2 check other scores! and den charlie nichols says ur team have just scored!!! ANNOYIN

And it leaves u feelin its ur fault, u turned ova after all!!

  8. Yeah it happens, my computer is here in my room about 10 meters away to the TV room, during the Man Utd vs Arsenal game @ OT i came on here for half time to ask a question, then i went back Bendtner has scored and i went mad lol

  9. Ha, more than I could count at first. For me, since I watch a good amount of games at a pub (though I do make the thrice annual pilgrimage to watch in person...can't this year and that hurts a lil) it's usually that I've had run to the bathroom and I end up hearing the roar of the crowd while I'm washing my hands. The kind of reaction usually tells me if it's good or bad news. I missed a goal against west ham this year, perhaps more but for the important matches I try to take it easy now to avoid missing things...and there's always halftime.

  10. all the bloody time...

  11. I can't look at scores. Every time I look, they miss. Every time I see them running for the goal and put my eyes down, they get the point!!!!

  12. Every Time

  13. Almost 99% of the time Mr H.

At my age I find watching a 'live' match for a full 90 minutes bit of a struggle - lapses in my concentration level or need to visit the kitchen or loo always seems to coincide with the scoring of a goal.

    Racks me off something rotten.

Sometimes I leave the room with no particular purpose in mind - to either toilet or kitchen - just hoping a late equalizing goal will be scored -when I miss it.

    I think I know the feeling Mr H .

  14. Wow, i'm surprised it happens a lot with people here, it rarely does with me, the last time that happened was the Liverpool vs. Arsenal CL match...

  15. I swear it happens every single time!

Its like we're the bad luck and when we leave they score!

    I hate it

  16. Glad you asked that. EVERY time!

  17. Im always prepared beforehand ....

    toilet ... check

    drink .... check

    food ... check

phone off the hook .... check

    NEVER miss an Arsenal goal!

  18. Mate, when I was at the United v Wigan game in 2006 I think it was, at halftime it was 0-0 and I went to buy myself a pie and when I came back, we were 2-0 up...
