Clarke has turned out for Europe five times in the past for the biennial event, but he missed out in 2008 - the same year he last won a tournament, the KLM Open in the Netherlands. Clarke believes that making an immediate impression in 2010 would go a long way in helping to regain his place in the European team. The 41-year-old would like to turn out for captain Colin Montgomerie's side at Celtic Manor in October.
