  1. not enough apparently

  2. No idea.  We've bombed Iraq before 9/11, maybe some air support was called in when US troops were acting as peacekeepers in Beirut in the 1980s before Iran's Hezbollah scum blew up the Marine Barracks there.  I guess some bombs were dropped when we were fighting the n***s in WWII.  Rommel and his troops were in North Africa and the middle east.

Why do you ask?  We didn't target buildings full of civilians, so it's not the same thing.  The reason Al Qaeda attacked us is  to scare us into abandoning support for governments in the Middle East so the religious lunatics could try to topple them and start a new Islamic caliphate that controls most of the oil.  They weren't getting justice, they were trying to take power.

  3. I know these for sure:

-Algeria and Tunisia, twice, in the 1800's

    -Libya in the 1980's

    -Lebanon in the 1980's

    -Turkey in World War 1

    -Iraq in the 1990's

-Iraq again to avenge the shooting of a president in the 1980's

-Landed troops in Southern Iran after the Embassy seizure in the

    1980's

    There might be more, idk

  4. We've been  'bombing' the Muslim controlled Middle East for the last 1,000 years, since the First Crusade.

  5. The reason that the bombing of 9/11 occurred was that certain factions of extremist Muslims want to eliminate all non-Muslims from the earth.  The US was attacked because it is considered a "Christian" nation by most of the world and is an ally of Israel.

The US has been involved in Middle Eastern affairs since the end of WWII when Israel was established and the Persian empire was broken apart.  The most recent occurrence before 9/11 of US bombing in the Middle East was the first Gulf War when Saddam invaded Kuwait and the US helped drive him back into Iraq.

  6. The number of American bombs or bullets used in the Middle East is irrelevant when discussing terrorists.  They bomb everyone.  The attack on the WTC was unusually big, and probably seemed more insidious because North America has never seen violence like that before.  First-time events of that nature always hit hard.  The truth is that you don't have to do anything but live your life in a different way than the extemists.  They use violence to push their own agendas.

  7. Maybe 6 times not sure I'm just guessing and I don't know of any reason.

  8. The issue is complex, no doubt it was done by radical Islamists, and certainly you are right.

The fundamental reason for resentment and hatred towards US is , blind support for Israel. Literally! Recent poll done in the middle east was very clear.

However it was also cleat that people love America and American people but not the polices.

Then they see America interfering in their affairs and interests, for it's own gain. It is associated with imperialism. Which fuels anti-American sentiment.

Even though majority in the middle east might not support these terrorists or their ideology, but there certainly seems to be some support for terrorists. Not b/c they agree but that is the only way they see getting back at US. They see their own corrupt regimes as American puppets, there is deep hatred for those regimes.

Hizbollah, Hamas, Iranian President seem to be very popular, according to a recent poll. Reason is simple they are seen as resisting American imperialism, and defending Palestine.

You hear President Bush speak about democracy. That is totally c**p. US aides and supports one of the most corrupt regimes. US has supported many tyrants and dictators. You for example hear about bringing democracy to Iraq but it was US who aided and supported Saddam even when he was killing his own people. It was US that supplied Saddam WMD's, and when he used then against innocent Kurds, US rather condemning supported him.

Bush speaks about Iran and Syria but why not against Egypt, S.Arabia, Ethiopia, Uzbekistan, Algeria etc.

Alqaeeda was formed and funded by US, they were called Mujahideen then. Once the war was over US just left. In continues years Alqeeda grew stronger as other terrorist organizations joined Alqaeeda. They found safe haven in Afghanistan, which was controlled by Taliban (A radical group).

The problem seems to have originated after the first gulf war, US stationed it's troops in S.Arabia, which evidently contains Islamic holy cities, outraging Muslims around the world. Of course their governments still couldn't say anything and S.Arabia was ok with it.

So as this friction grew terrorist organizations filled the vacuum, and started a Jihad against imperial US. Alqaeeda had previously targeted the twin towers, it also attacked US embassies around the world. Alqaeeda ceased on and prayed on the frustrations those people had, and recruited terrorists. Cause of Israel & Chechnya came in handy as they used US support for Israel to breed anti-American resentment.

. . . . finally it happened, we could never have imagined it in million years. So frustration for their corrupt regime, who they accuse of not dealing with American imperialism, cause of Palestine & their deep hatred for Israel. No future, they have nothing to lose, they live in poverty. Iraqi invasion fueled anti-American sentiments even more and people who were moderates, became anti-American.

There are good books, some written by people who are experts in the field, academics, Ex-CIA agents etc.
