How many times have you been rejected by a writing magazine?

If you have ever been accepted into a short story or writing magazine, how many times were you rejected before you got published?

Answer 1

In truth,  not many.  I have a relationship with editors of a few local magazines.  I throw a pitch every now and then but more often than not they will email me when they need piece done.
