I breast feed her any time she wants. I just start to add different food. I don't want to over feed her. She already looks chubby.

  1. i would imagine you should feed her as much as she needs. if she's still hungry after feeding you should be giving her cereal or solid food by now. if you're concerned about her eating you should talk to your pediatrician.

7 - 9 months   Watch baby's cues - this is particularly easy if baby nurses beforehand and most/all of the solids are offered to baby to self-feed. Increase solids gradually if baby is interested, with a maximum of 2 meals per day.

9 - 12 months Watch baby's cues - this is particularly easy if baby nurses beforehand and most/all of the solids are offered to baby to self-feed. Increase solids gradually if baby is interested. Aim for baby getting no more than 25% of her calories from solids by the age of 12 months (some babies eat less than this at 12 months and that's also normal).

  3. at nine months my breast fed baby ate solids 2 times a day, with occasional snacks. A meal in the mid morning, around 10, and a meal in the evening around 7. Other than that it was mommy milk or a bottle.

  4. It is normal for babies to be chubby.  Stop worrying about he weight, if the pediatrician is concerned he will let you know.  Feed the baby when she is hungry period.
