  1. I'll say just Once at least that's my plan and opinion

  2. well, i've been married SIX times!

    its pretty sad though!

they divorce me cuz im "mean according to them"

im just looking for the right guy

  3. Ideally, once. That's why marriage is such a sacred (and expensive) event. :)

  4. Once...after all this planning I dont think I could do it all over again!

  5. Twice.  The first time for love and the second time for money.

If you're lucky then you can get both in one go.

  6. The best answer is only once. But as time has evolved, we don't keep marriages forever. Now we are allowed to marry as many times as we want. I wish I could marry again, but due to the circumstances I feel tied to my husband. Would this be a good reason to stay? I have two babies and two teenagers, but my husband is a loser. But he is the only one that helps me with my children. What can I say? Life sucks, ha.

  7. Well...I suppose everyone hopes for one...I know I am!

  8. Just the once, ideally!! Thats my plan anyways! :)

  9. I want to get it right the first time - and I think that goes for women AND men.

  10. Kind of a pointless question, really.  Ideally we all picture ourselves being married to only one person, but realities like death and divorce change that plan.  Before I met my 2nd husband, I dated a man that ended up passing away this year.  So if I had married him instead, I'd be divorced once and widowed once, and I'm only 41.  My first marriage lasted 10 years, but my spouse was unfaithful and left me for that person, but I always pictured we'd be together forever.  Oh well, my new hubby is wonderful and we will go the distance together, as long as we both shall live, as they say.

  11. ONE... till death till you part... right

  12. Very simple question. O

  13. It really is meant to be just the once, states it in the vows etc and thats what we all hope for but sometimes it always dont happen I think that in our lifetime we can have more than one soulmate anyway so whoever you fall deeply in love constitutes a reason to marry them!

  14. In an ideal situation, once... because vows are supposed to be 'till death do us part.'

And I DON'T think it's different for guys.  It's the same thing.  Ideally we should only be married once... twice if our spouse dies and we are lucky enough to find someone else.

However, just because a woman (OR MAN) has had a marriage that didn't work out doesn't mean that they are somehow a bad person or less of a person.  I have an aunt who is on her third marriage... The first one ended in divorce due to domestic abuse (which I do not blame her for at ALL!) and her second husband was killed in a car-train accident.

I don't think that there's any specific number where a woman (or man) should just not be allowed to get married anymore.  But if you love someone and know truly that you will be with them till death do you part, then any past marriages shouldn't matter.

  15.   once

( or  to they get it right )

  16. Ideally once but no one can predict the future. We are supposed to marry "Till death us do part" and for the most part, when we take those vows we mean them. My mother is on her third marriage and she's finally happy. She and her present husband will have been married for exactly 20 years in 6 weeks time.

  17. Once...wait for your true love...and don't settle for less....be patient...your time will come.

  18. Just once.  You should respect the vows you take on your wedding day and your marriage should be forever.
