  1. altogether 4 times but 2 times since WW2! america should not get to host the olympics until atleast 2080-2090! they are no longer the superpower people feared! china is the new superpower and russia, india, etc are on the verge of superpower status in the next 10-15 years, especially russia!

  2. I Hate Lazy People is right.

(but I'm a lazy guy, how can I hate myself?)

  3. Based on the criticism towards China for boycotting the Games there, my response to this question is that the US should not host another Olympics until:

    - it improves human rights and frees all the prisoners from Guantanamo Bay, or at least try them legally

    - it leaves Iraq and stop from invading and occupying other countries in the future

    - it stops meddling and potentially causing wars in other parts of the world: middle east (Israel vs. Pakistan/ Arabs), Asia (China vs. Taiwan, and N Korea vs S Korea), Europe (Georgia vs. Russia)

    - it allows people to protests freely and not arrest them (see links below, Hawaii, Washington, Disneyland, etc).

    - it reduces pollution (US is still no 1 overall polluter by a wide margin 40% over China, and US is still no 5 per capita while China is no 80)

  4. 4 Summer Olympics:

    St Louis, MO, 1904

    Los Angeles, CA, 1932

    Los Angeles, CA, 1984

    Atlanta, GA, 1996

    4 Winter Olympics

    Lake Placid, NY, 1932

    Squaw Valley, CA, 1960

    Lake Placid, NY, 1980

    Salt Lake City, UT, 2002

  5. 4 Winter Olympics and 4 Summer Olympics
