  1. A: Depends on the size of your rabbit.  Small rabbits that are less than 5 pounds really only need 1/8 of a cup each day!  5-8 need about 1/2 of a cup and 8+ need a little more than a half a cup.  Never give your rabbit unlimited pellets - it'll become obese in no time.  If your rabbit gets a lot of exercise then you can give him/her a little more than what is recommended.  My female dutch rabbit weighs 4 pounds - but we give her about 1/4 of a cup of pellets each day.  This is because she has a large area to run around outside all day.  Timothy and other greens should make up for the rest of their diet.

A: There is no such thing as too much exercise for a rabbit so take your rabbit out as much as you can.  Your rabbit should really have a Rabbit Run so that it can get some exercise whenever it wants.  If you don't have a rabbit run then let them out to run around for at least an hour each day.

A: Rabbits are generally affectionate animals that like attention.  However, there are several rabbits out there that are very to themselves.  If this is the case try to break him/her out of their shell.  Be gentle with them, never chase them (let them come to you), and feed them a little treat every day.  Fixing rabbits can make them nicer too!

A: Domestic rabbits rarely bite - but yes, it hurts!  I've never been bitten by one but I know people that have.  Usually rabbits will nibble very gently because they are curious.  That doesn't hurt at all.  They bite when they are scared and startled.  I recommend never taking a rabbit out of their cage - let them come to you.  Also, if they don't like being picked up then don't pick them up too much!  None of my rabbits have ever bitten.  If your rabbit is comfortable with you then I wouldn't worry at all.  If they aren't comfortable with you just be careful.

Hope I helped!  Good luck with everything.
