How many times should you take the SATs or ACTs?

you should decided first what university your going to because some only accept SAT and others only ACT and if you have the money to spend take them as many times as possible till you get a score your happy with

Colleges strongly discourage you from taking the SATs more than 3 times.  Any more than 3 times and it just reflects poorly on you even if you improved.

I took them both twice. A lot of people take them a million times, but its really not necessary. Just take them till you get a score you feel good about.
