How many titles will Rafael Nadal win in 2010? He’s so far one behind where he was at the same stage last year.

Nadal won five titles in 2009 and will be hard pressed to equal that in 2010. The first big query are Nadal’s knees, which have kept the former world No. 1 out of action since the Australian Open, though it was a tear not tendonitis this time around. If he’s fit, you’d have to back Rafa in to win at least a couple of the clay court titles, including perhaps his pet Grand Slam, the French Open. A maximum of four titles for Nadal this year, and we’ll see whether he can stay off the injury list to do that.
