  1. Regardless of how you refer to it.  The container has a maximum gross weight limit.  The limit depends on the size of the container.  there are long ones 50', 40', and half size ones  20' and tall ones (110") and short ones (96").

    A semi Truck hauling a standard container is limited to 80,000 pounds gross (truck, container and contents).

    there are container suppliers on the internet that list thier tare and gross weight limits.

    Portland cement is available in 60 and 80 lb sacks.  do the math from there to determine how many sack per container.  Ill bet there is a lot of unused volume once the weight limit is reached.

  2. You would need to know the width of the container and the depth. Then find out how many yards are in those measurements. One yard of premixed cement is one ton... Good luck!

  3. cement==the set stuff, concrete = powder.

    containers are standard sizes, work out how many bags concrete you can put on a standard pallet, you can work out how many pallets, and thats it.  bag concrete has set weight each.  not difficult, even ask a cement company-they might know.
