How many tornadoes have you seen?

I have never seen a tornado on the ground, but have seen at least 3 or 4 funnel clouds in the sky, the first when I was about 10. I saw one forming about 20 years ago that later hit about 20 miles from where I lived.  Over 50 years ago, I lived in southern Illinois and a small tornado skimmed over the apartment building I lived in and took some roof tiles. A house across the street lost it's roof and another small building was destroyed. I heard it, I did not see it. The tornado only lasted a few seconds and nobody was hurt.

Zero.  I've had numerous close calls, and even once had an F0 tornado do some damage where I lived at the time, but in each case I was either away OR was cowering somewhere, not daring to peek outside for a possibly-fatal tornado glimpse.  I'll stick with looking at them on TV.

I have seen the sky turn green shortly before tornado time several times.  What's up with THAT?

iv seen a funnel  cloud, and a water spout. but not a tornado.

Only one but it was a funnel cloud and at night so really I've seen none.

But I really want to see one or two or 10!
