How many total issues of "Spawn" are there?

I'm thinking of getting this trade paperback series that has 114 issues.

I believe there are 169 issues of Spawn.

There are only 181 issues right now.  Issue 184 was originally scheduled to come out on Aug. 27th, but issues 182 and 183 didn't make it to the presses and have not been released yet.  Since they haven't come out yet, issue 184 won't be released on time either.

The first volume of the trade paperback series that you want doesn't include issues 9 and 10 due to a legal dispute regarding some of the characters in each one.  Issue 9 has been reprinted in another TPB series (in "Dark Discoveries") but issue 10 never has been, so if you want those two issues as well you would have to buy them individually.

There are also a bunch of TPBs that contain the spin off series like Sam and Twitch and Angela:
