  2. There are total 16 pawns on chess board - 8 white and 8 black.  Apart from that there are:

    4 rooks  (2 white and 2 black),  

    4 knights   (2 white and 2 black),  

    4 bishops (2 white and 2 black),  

    2 kings  (1 white and 1 black),  

    2 queens (1 white and 1 black).

  3. Answer: Zero !! There are no 'pawans'. But there are 16 pawns ;-)

  11. Pawns are little soldiers in the chess, they are located in the front of others . they can be moved one step in each chance . In the first movement of each pawn , they are allowed to move two steps forward . In the attacking situation the pawn have to stick the opponent by moving right forward or left forward .

    Total pawns : 16
