  1. as many as your heart desires her to have.  There is no set limit!  Are you having to constantly pick up her toys?  If so, then no more is needed.  Nice weather is approaching, so she shouldn't need any new ones for a while, unless it's sidewalk chalk for outdoor items

  2. As many as her grandma can buy her..  lol

  3. as much as she can keep up with. If she is taking care of her toys and keeping her room clean then there is no specific number. But if she has so many toys that she dosen;t even know what she has, or if she can't keep them picked up, its time to thin them out.

  4. none because they will just go off them. you should save the money for when they are older and buy them things that they will actually appreciate. x*x

  5. I think that kids in general have way too many toys today.  But some toys have survived for generations, because they are "classics" that kids have always enjoyed.   Here are a few things every child should have:

"Building" toys such as Legos, and their accessories.

At least one very special doll, with clothes and accessories.

Board games ("Sorry," "Trouble," "Operation," "Checkers," and "Junior Scrabble).

    Plenty of books

A bike, roller skates, jump rope, and other outdoor toys

A couple of special stuffed animals

Art supplies, like paint, paper, crayons, markers, coloring books

My six-year-old daughter has lots of toys that people have given her, but the items mentioned above are the things she plays with the most.  Everything else just sits in her room in bins, collecting dust.

  6. there are SO many toys available- and so many good ones! Some essentials, I think would be blockes, legos, baby dools and things to "care" for them like stroller, crib, dollhouse, puzzles, age appropriate games, make-believe toys to use imagination like a castle and things to go with it, a farm, a "schoolhouse",etc., arts and crafts suppies for you to do together, crayons and markers and paper and books to draw in, and as many books as you can afford!!! Mine also have a kitchen, an indoor tent and things for boys as well- although remember that a girl can play with a truck or matchbox cars just as easily as a boy- my granddaughter loves them! My 3 grandkids live with me with their parents (we bought a house together- they're not mooching!) and they have a wide variety of toys that each develope a different sense.

  7. She shouldn't have too many because after a while she's going to outgrow them and/or no longer play with them.  But then again not too little because she still needs to be able to use her imagination and creativity when playing with toys.  But if you notice some toys haven't been used/played with in a while consider donating them to a local Goodwill or Salvation Army!  Hope this helps! :o)
