  1. The normal truck carries 8-12 cubic yards, so 835-1250 truckloads, depending on how they're loaded and what their capacity is.

When I was working interstate construction work, we'd estimate 8 cu.yd. per load for progress completion payments.  These were not your ordinary redi-mix trucks though, they had an open top and agitator/auger and would only haul from the on-site plant to the pour -- usually less than 5 miles.  In a ten hour day, on a good day, we'd pour 1 mile of 2 lane highway, 10" deep.  Ramps were done separately and bridges were usually the first to start after the cut and fill was done and the last to finish.

  2. depends where you live ..here in the uk the lorries carry 6 cubic metres ...a cubic yard of concrete contains 27 cubic feet ..a cubic metre contains 35 ...the answer to your question is 1 ..providing he makes 1000 journeys !

  3. about 1,000 , 1 truck is 9 cu.meters

  4. A standard truck can carry about 10 cubic yards. So you would need about 1000 trucks.

That is alot of concrete, not a DIY project.

  5. a lot...lol...... it actually depends on how big the trucks are.
