How many verbal warnings can you get before it leads on to further disciplines?

Most work places only give you 1 verbal then a written and so on.

It depends on the company.  Some there's only one, but usually you get 2 warnings.  The third time gets you fired.

It depends on your contract but in most companies, it's one only.  Then you'd go on to get a written warning.

However in some workplaces they "expire" after six months, so if your first warning had been more than six months ago it wouldn't count.
