I had surgery to remove a kidney stone a few days ago, i also had a stint in my ureter tube for healing, well its causing me alot of pain. I was prescribed vicodin and have been taking them to ease the pain and help sleep. but now when i take one it doesn't help me sleep, could be that i'm building an immunity to it?? If i take a second one, to help me get some sleep tonight and help the pain more, is that safe?

  1. these other people are whack... if your pain what would it hurt?

What Mg's do you got?? up too 4000mg Tylenol a day and 1500mg a dose.

  2. You can use two of them at a time but don't do it for very long. Yes your body is getting use to them. You have watch it because of the tylenol that is in them can hurt your liver. Call your doctor he can call in something else that would help you more. Good luck

  3. Take as prescribed, if that isn't helping you need to contact your Dr's office or the ER.  xox

  4. Yes, you definitely can build up a dependency.  If a second one is allowed on your prescriptionk, take it.  However, you need to talk to your doctor's office right away and be examined s soon as possible.

  5. if pain is horrible change to a different opiate.. oxycontin.. dont abuse though cuz its so addictive.

  6. Take them as prescribed.  If they're not working, call your doctor.  Vicodin is addictive and habit forming.  Trust me, that's a road you don't want to do down.
