  2. You will get 12 volts only.But the output which is in amps

    may be higher than a standard coil.

  3. The voltage output of a coil is determined by the total resisitance of the circuit, including the spark plug gap, up to the limit of the coil which in the case of HEI for example probably exceeds 60KV.

  4. depends on the manufacturer and the model size, some mustang coils are 50 to 100 thousand.

  5. Two things.....

    1/ It depends on how many volts you put in (you can put in 6 volts and get half nominal out or 24 volts and get double nominal out.....and

    2/ It depends on the ratio of primary windings to secondary winding  and also on the load across the sparking plug and its attendant resistors.

    In fact there is no sensible answer to your question without more information. The answer in most cases will be many thousands, but very few amps.
