Well, lets look at the most recent examples: George Bush sent troops for military actions in Afghanistan and Iraq.  Bill Clinton sent troops for military action in Iraq, Somalia, and Albania.  By the way, anyone want to know why Clinton ordered a 4 day bombing strike on Iraq?  Because of his belief that Suddam Hussein was developing weapons of mass destruction.  Quote:

To Republicans are Cowards:

The first military troops sent to Vietnam were under Kennedy, genius.  It was continued throughout LBJ's presidency--"Hey, hey, LBJ, how many kids did you kill today?"  Does that ring a bell?  That's what war protesters chanted outside the White House.  Our troops came HOME under Nixon.  Try actually looking up information before you post.

Define Libs, Cons and wars. Lincoln was a republican in his day, but they say if he was still alive his policies would be considered democratic. Washington was an independant. Are we talking about Congressionally recognized wars or 'military actions' like vietnam, korea and iraq?

Libs don't declare wars, we are too smart for that, and besides, we are not owned by the Military Industrial Complex.

The Civil war was started by people that called themselves Democrats. (the firing on FT Sumter in south Carolina).

WW1 and ww2 was conducted by Democratic administrations. As was Korea and Vietnam (at least for the 1st 5 years.) Oh and of course the war in Bosnia (conducted without congressional approval)

Interesting name, "Republicans are Cowards". I spent over 20 years in the military and a large number of service people vote Republican. How many years did you spend in uniform?
