in this motherboard.

my question is i dont fully understand the power consumption aspect of computers. i believe i have an 800w power supply feeding one of those gfx cards. will 800w be enough to run both with a duel core 2.2 gh processor. or am i going to have to get a beefier power supply?

  1. For any Dual SLI setup, you will need a lot of power.

800W is good enough (Volts, not watts), but still, I would recommend going with a SLI-Compatible 1000W PSU.

  2. you cant sli those cards on that motherboard, the P5QE Is an intel chipset p45 motherboard that can only run CROSSFIRE I would really go with 4850's instead, or if you want sli get an evga 750i ftw edition because that current motherboard will not work with SLI
