Question:

How many watts are these subwoofers?

alright i have two subwoofer with a sensitivity or what ever at 89dbs

and its a max of 1000 watts. how many dbs is it at its max of 1000w

i did this, first start with 89dbs and for every time i doubled it i added 3dbs and got this

1 = 89db

2 = 92

4 = 95

8 = 98

got it... i got bout 120db for 1 sub

can anybody help me and if i have two how many dbs will i have together and i know its not 240 so dont say that

  1. This is only if you are comparing drivers to one another, your actual spl output depends on alot of factors, not just the sensitivity, but you have the general idea every time you double the power it is around a 3db gain.

  2. i dont see why your doubling unless your adding it up for multiple subs. that still wont be correct because each sub has it's own db rating and the db's will be adding to each other ex.89+89 so on
