That guy who says read the ratings off the device is right.  It's impossible to give an answer without knowing exactly which devices you have in mind.  A Sunfrost upright freezer running as a refrigerator may use 1/3 of what an EnergyStar refrigerator will use, and a 20 year old refrigerator could use 10 times the electricty of the EnergyStar.  A computer will vary in power consumption, too, depending on which one you have.

    If these are all devices that you are powering today, what you could do is look at your electric bills, and note the kWh used per month, or per year.  From there, plus your location, someone can give you a good estimate of how much you would need in the way of solar panels.


  2. Read on the back of each device the wattage they use and add them up.  That is your answer.  If some items are rated in amps instead of watts you can convert it by multiplying the amps times 120.  When you get each item's use in watts, just add them up and that is how much capacity of solar power you need if everything is being used at the same time.
