How many weeks a year does Congress work, and how many do you think they should work?

Our Congress works?  I wasn't aware of that!

In grammar class, you are taught that Pro means good or for, and Con means bad or against.  Given that logic, Congress becomes the opposite of Progress.

Their schedule is whatever they want it to be.  Or so it seems.  

Those schmucks in D.C work 2 1/2 days a week.  MAYBE.  Their work for the year typically ends in early October.

No wonder nothing gets done.  They, of course, get a full year's salary.

They should have to work  Monday-Friday, at least 8 hours a day around the calendar like the rest of us poor slobs.
