  1. about 25 weeks you will feel it move before that but it will start kicking around 25 weeks and until about 27 or 28 weeks other people probably wont feel it kick when they touch your belly at least from personal experience

  2. Generally speaking, around 18 weeks.  If you are a "big beautiful" woman, it might not be until around 24 weeks.

2nd time mothers usually notice the kicking earlier than 1st time mothers because they know what "feeling" to look for.

  3. I'm 12 weeks and pregnant for the first time.  I have had many questions and have had great luck with the site listed below.  I go to the first trimester buddies message board and have posted questions and gotten caring, fast answers back from the community.

Also, I have an excellent book call Your Pregnancy Week by Week.  I don't know how I would be coping without these two resources.  You can get the current version of week by week at any Borders, Barnes and Nobles, etc.  I wouldn't suggest What to Expect When you are Expecting.  I have a copy and don't like it at all.  In fact the book seems mean and uncaring.

The website below also has a huge baby name database, calculators for due date/conception dates, lots of info, etc.  I think its the best site of its kind.

Good luck with everything and congratulations!!!

  4. I felt my daughter kick for the first time 2 days after my first ultrasound which was around 20 weeks.  I was pretty sure what was happening - it's an indescribable feeling...

  5. it doesn't really feel like a kick that early on.  Usually around your time it feels like butterflies or gas bubbles.  congrats
