I just joined weight watchers and I eat chicken pad thai quite often. There is no nutrition information on this. How do I figure out how many points it is?

  1. If there is no nutrition info on this dish, then you need to know exactly what is in it to figure it out.  If you eat a certain amount like say 1 cup of it, then you need to know how much of each ingredient is in that 1 cup.  For example if there is 1 oz chicken, and so much of each other ingredient, figure out the points value of each ingredient in that 1 cup and then add each one together, then you will have the points value of that dish.  You just need to make sure that you do this no matter how much of it you eat.  If you eat it at a restraunt, then ask them for a nutrition list that will tell you how much calories, fat and so on is in the food you are eating.  Just remember, you need to figure it out by the calories, fat and fiber in the food.  The more fiber in the food, and less fat, generally the fewer points.
