  1. how big are the bottles?

whats the volume of one wine case?

we need a little more info

  2. For those people who don't know, 20 feet container is a shipping crate that is 20 feet long and about 8 feet wide and 8.5 feet tall.  It has a total of about 1360 cubic feet in capacity.

The size of wine case varies based on the bottle size and how the bottles are boxed.  A good estimate is about 0.75 cubic feet capacity for a 12 bottles in wooden crate, 2-4 cubic feet for paper dividers padding, up to 4-5 cubic feet for those with styrafoam padding.  So, it is hard to estimate based on the information given.

Optimally, you can get about 1400 cases of wine if you really pack the wines in.  Honestly, I would not pack the whole container with wines.  That is a pretty expensive container, if you want to ask me.
