  3. Two actually, he divorced his first wife Katherine of Aragon on the grounds that he went against God and married his brother's wife ( when in reality Anne Boleyn was his mistress and he wanted to marry her), he beheaded Anne Boleyn and accused her of heresy against the King, then his third wife Jane Seymour who produced an Heir but died shortly after giving birth, his fourth wife Anne of Cleves was the one he neither married nor killed, he never consummated the marriage and she remained in court with long after they had separated, his fifth wife Katherine Howard was much younger than King Henry and she was beheaded because of adultery, and lastly his Katherine Par who took very good care his daughters and reunited them both who actually outlived the King.

  9. 2

  10. Two.

    Divorced, beheaded, died, divorced, beheaded,survived.

  11. Henry's second wife was called Anne Boleyn and she was beheaded for witchcraft, having adulterous relationships with five other men, for incest with her brother and for injuring the King and conspiring to kill him;  these charges were almost certainly fabricated.   She died on 19th May, 1536.

Katherine Howard was the king's fifth wife and the daughter of Anne's uncle.   She was arrested for treason by virtue of being engaged at the time of her wedding and her conduct before fer marriage.   She died on 13th Feb, 1532.

  12. Anne Boleyn and Catherine Howard, second or third cousins to one another were beheaded.

Katherine of Aragon was discarded by Henry, claiming their marraige had been illegal due to her having been married to his older brother for a few months before he died.

Jane Seymour died a few days after giving birth to Henry's only legitimate son.

Anne of Cleves' marriage with Henry was annulled on the grounds of never being consumated. He didn't like her for a spouse, but they remained on good terms.

Catherine Parr outlived Henry, and eventually died giving birth to her first child by the fourth husband, a daughter.

Obviously, being a wife of Henry VIII had put some kind of a jinx on women who loved him or at least agreed to be his wife.

  13. Two wer beheaded. Anne Boleyn  and Catherine Howard

  14. 2: Anne Boleyn (for treason, he suspected her of having an affair with her male friend - tortured him and everything until he "confessed", but most say it was just because he wanted to marry Jane Seymour.

Then Katharine Howard, who was much younger than him and again it was over her havng affairs at court and so treason for which the punishment was having your head cut off.
