How many women got pregnant by baby dancing 3 days before ovulation?

Question

My husband and I baby danced the 30th and 31st without protection. Mainly because I was so early in my cycle, that I thought we would be in the clear. I didn't pay enough attention to my dates because when I looked at my calendar this morning I realized I am expect to ovulate the 3rd-5th. As you can tell I am a horrible gage of time! My husband really would like to wait. We just had a miscarriage which was horrible, and we both decided to wait at the very least one year however closer to 2 before trying again. Which is why I am keeping a calendar, so I can avoid the days when I would get pregnant. I'm like 99% sure that I am not going to get pregnant. However I am just curious how many people got pregnant by baby dancing 3 days prior to ovulation.

They say sperm can live up to 3 days.... but I'm sure the odds are significantly lower. Also I usually do not ovulate on time. I JUST started charting so I am still going based on a normal cycle, which I rarely have.

I did! I always kept a calendar because we were doing the 'birth control by ovulation days' sort of method, and one day (3 days before ovulation) we had the house alone and well,, now I'm 16 weeks pregnant.

I had a miscarriage in December though so I know how hard those can be - we were trying to wait a year as well.

Much to my amazement, I ended up getting pregnant by having s*x 4 days before ovulation and the 1-2 days after. I am not sure which stuck but I think it's from the 4 days before.. They say it's best to have s*x right before ovulation and the day of but with all things, anything is possible. Hope things turn out for you the way you want them to. Good luck!

First of all, I'm sorry for your loss. I've been doing a lot of research lately while trying to conceive, and many articles have said that sperm can live up to six days (I'm sure not very likely, but possible). Just three days before ovulation is quite possible.

I found a baby calender and it says to have a girl "baby dance"regularly but stop  3 days before ovulation .So ........ Hope things turn out the way you and hubby wants.
