  1. I actually think women are probably more violent toward men. First of all men are not going to call the cops because their wife/ girlfriend pushed or hit them. They are not going to call the cops because she threw a lamp or phone at him either. Besides the injury a man would sustain from a women is far less then a woman would get from a man in most cases. But if you flipped these scenarios around you know as well as I that the cops would be called and injury would be likely. I think the fact is this violence toward men is under reported and violence toward women is not only reported alot but maybe even lied about by some crazies.

  2. Not I and the bad thing is if a man protects himself from the woman he will go to jail,if the woman defends herself it's self-defense or "battered woman syndrome" which is actually in a way telling woman "Go ahead, you'll get away with it" I believe it goes on alot more than what society will believe because a man is laughed at if he reports it. People need to realize there are some cruel woman in the world that are getting away with it because they are protected by the law with alot of them never second guessed. They give REAL  woman a bad name!! More proof should be on some of these woman for it could very well be self-defense on the mans part.

  3. The research shows that women hit men far more than the reverse.

When men hit women, she is usually left on the floor bleeding. The police are called and this is what makes news.

Women are far more violent than men. If one includes the use of emotional violence, women are off the scale.

  4. In terms of frequency for mild violence / aggression I don't know. Most studies show that this is indeed the case. What I think is beyond doubt is that women are much more likely to be severely injured or killed by a partner, they are generally less able to physically defend themselves and they are more vulnerable when they try to leave an abusive relationship. A woman shouting at a man and throwing a plate across the room is NOT the same as a man pummelling his wife until she is bleeding and unconscious on the floor.

  5. No I know better than that...

  6. Me. Almost every study, think tanks, government entities, show the ratio of about 85% women being physically victimized to 15% men.

The men on here are always complaining about political correctness. Then show you're not PC and face reality without putting your own spin on it. I'm not saying violence by women against men isn't equally important. It is, and it needs comparable resources to fight it, but it's just not nearly as common.

  7. I don't believe it. I KNOW it to be a fact!

Yes, there are battered men, but then number of batter women are far higher and ONE battered man does NOT nullify to 10 or more so battered women!

  8. It would certainly appear that way and always has appeared that way, but I'm not sure if there are hard statistics to show whether this is true or not?

  9. Maybe physically, but I kinda doubt it.

  10. That;'s what statistics say but I think it's still a social taboo with men being the victim. So I think many wouldn't publically own up to it.
