How many women study engineering?

I believe the latest numbers put women engineers with a BS at 20% of the total, 11% with PhD.

And, TTT, yes, many women enjoy industrial and "hard" work.

They are few, not because gentlemen are just smarter :). However, girls never enjoy the factories and the hardwork industry.

Not nearly as many as should but in increasing numbers today.  Whe I was in school 15 years ago about 10%, now its probably 25% or less

i'm a woman currently enrolled in chemical engineering.

my class consists of almost 40% female students.
