How many words do your toddlers say?

How many understandable words does your toddler (between14 and 24 months) say?

This is what my 16 1/2 month old says:

gee I'm depressed.... my 18 month old says

he points at everything and I guess I give in too easily and don't make him say the word... but he understands almost everything.

Hmmm every child is different. My baby girl was speaking  full sentences by  the time she was 16 months. She's just 2 now and she says sentances with words like "fabulous, dangerous, and fantastic"  So again, every child is different.

My daughter just turned 21 months, and has an awesome vocabulary. I can have conversations with her, and she is starting to talk in two and three word sentences....of course, they sometimes don't make sense...LOL. Example: "Pablo pee pee potty" means she's wants Pablo (her stuffed animal) to sit on her potty chair.

She can also count to three, can name all her body parts, and knows all almost all the colors. She can also argue.....Example: "Emma, I said no..." "Mama, YES!"...hehe

At 16.5 months, your son had a really good vocabulary as well. He will definitely be one of those two years old who speak like they are closer to 3.
