It is a myth that citalapram cannot kill a human being. since it is

a SSRI. but it is the truth, every drug when consumed  in large quantity can kill anyone.

for citalapram the fatal dose is about 800 mg in a day

if you took an overdose of these tablets, you would probably end up with brain damage or have convulsions, fits, and ruin your insides so really it would just make you worse off than you already were before taking them.

Thing is you would still be aware of your surroundings but trapped as a cabbage.

well, for one, i think suicide is complete cowardess, and if you wer going to kill yourself, you would just keep taking them untill you died, not asking complete strangers on a website, no strict amount, so this sounds like attention seeking.. if you are actually considering this then please seek professional help, nothing is worth your life

Simple answer - it wouldn't work.

It just wouldn't. Theres little to no chance at all.

Citalopram is an SSRI and they can't kill you by overdose.

Instead you'll just be very ill!

If you are seriously considering suicide and cannot be detered, please be aware there are MANY more peaceful ways to go than this.
