I can about 50 wpm is that really fast?

  1. It's probably fast for your level of experience.

    50-60 is what you need to type to pass most  beginning typing classes.  At one time I could type 100 wpm which is considered fast.  

    50-70 - average

    70-80 - really good

    80 + great
