  1. A minimum of four years in college.  If you are teaching public school, it's advisable to obtain a master's degree, so it could turn to six or seven.

  2. four years. but most go six for their masters.

  3. a lot, because you have to obtain a PHD degree.

  4. A minimum of 4 years for a Bachelors degree.  Like others have said it could be 6-7 years for a Masters degree.  That said, schools do not have to pay as much for their teachers w/o a Masters.  My suggestion is to complete your schooling for the Bachelors degree, find a teaching job, then continue your schooling for your Masters degree.

My school even helped me to pay for a portion of my Masters classes.

Even with the certificates, I continue to learn at becoming an even better teacher...it never stops.

  5. It really doesn't take long to be a teacher. Some people become Sunday school teachers in 6 months. But to be a certified teacher, it takes a minumum 5 years. Very few get it done in four years now. There are some people who have been in the classroom as a teacher for over 20 years and still haven't mastered the art or "teaching."

  6. minimum of 4 yrs

  7. It took me 4 years to earn my bachelor's degree.  I finished my masters in 1 year.  I also took summer classes.
