It depends what u wish to specialise in, u can do a basic psychology degree (make sure it is BPS) and that's 3 years, but to actually work in a specific psychological field i.e clinical psychologist or child psychologist u usually need to top up your degree with another one plus have experience so maybe 10 years overall and it is very competitive...

but it really does depend on what u specialise in!
