  1. It is a felony but every state is different in their range of punishment.  In TX the range is 2-20 years  


  2. In CA, it is either a misdemeanor or a felony, depending on the injuries.  The felony carries up to 4 years State Prison, assuming no special enhancements for really bad injuries and no prior record and the injured party was not a cop.

  3. What state do you live in, what was the deadly weapon you used and what were the circumstances surrounding the assault?

  5. It all depends on " Intent" and Whom you Assaulted. I would say as much as 20 years.

  6. Its really gonna depend on the situation and the factors behind it. Also if there are any previous convictions and the District Attorney idea of the situation. Be as coperrative as possible they will work with you
