How many years do you need to be in UK ( as a UK national) prior to entering ox-bridge to get UK national fee

want to know if we were to move out of UK, would we lose the benefit of sending kids to uni at UK national tuition fees

  1. As long as they keep their nationality, you continue to get benefit of paying "home Student" fees.

  2. Three years. Unfortunately you're no longer counted as a UK student if you weren't living in the UK three years prior to your course starting (like me). However, I think there may be some way to prove that you were only away from the UK temporarily or something but I'm not sure. It's quite complicated. Probably best to contact someone to make sure.

    BUT if you're within the EU (or Switzerland or anywhere else in the EEA) you count as an EU student and you pay the same as UK students and still get the same loan.
