What are the best jobs or wanted careers that the Airforce wants? I have heard they are looking in the medical field, and computer field? Can someone give me the types of careers wanted in the medical and computer field?

I have a sister who wants to do pharmacy. I'd really appreciate it.

  1. The minimum serve time is EIGHT years.  You can do 4 active and 4 IR or 6 Active and 2 IRR.  IRR is the Inactve reserves.  You don't have to go to work, you don't get paid but if they need you, they can reactivate you to Active Duty.

  2. the amount of years that you devote to the air force depends on the job. currently there is almost a full years waiting list for medical, admin, and legal jobs.

  3. And the only way to get on that waiting list is to apply to join.

    That said.

You'd need to talk to a recruiter to see what jobs are open.

Here's a link to Air Force jobs it has job descriptions and what ASVAB scores and other qualifications you need.

  4. The length of time depends on your contract. Some jobs do require your contract to last a extra year or two.

As for what job should you do...thats up to you!

Go on google and do a search for the USAF jobs/occupation fields.
