  1. he will never make it there

  2. infinity

  3. I don't think this can be predicted. Right now I think it is impossible while nadal and Federer are still there. Djokovic won't let it happen easily as well. Maybe after 3-4 years it could happen. Who knows there might be some 17 year old somewhere who'll burst onto the scene and take the top spot.

  4. dont get too excited, its the hard court season, and he sucks on clay

  5. he will never ever be number one

  6. No, 1 Scottish t**t? Hmmm shouldn't be too long till Mr Mrown cedes the crown.

  7. I think Murray wil become number 1 in about 2 years , but onli if he carries on playing like he is at the moment. I think he has a great chance of going far in the US Open

  8. Well i think he will be Number four by the end of the tennis year. When he plays his first masters cup that would stand him on good ground as it will be his first and it will be in a non-pressure atmosphere so Andy can do just let it hang out against the best in the world, it will be interesting. I believe once he reaches number 4, it will all be about winning the first slam even though he has potential to be good on all slams i think the 2 most likely will the aus open,us open as he has the confidence considering he was U S junior open champion. Depending if the guy remains fit and improves his physical game as well as his mental and tennis game and gets deep into tournaments on a regular basis and playing the likes of nadal/djoker regularly, i think a win against nadal will come more likely in the master cup or on the hard court and when he does he will have the confidence knowing he can beat anyone.

Just as those things happen i think perhaps when the guy is 23-24 years, rite now he is 21 but once he reaches 4th in order to make it to number one he will have to win more than one slam in a year/ more masters events in a year in order to challenge for that title. The guy at the moment just needs to stay fit and play regularly Coz i don't think  his game is quite there yet!

  9. Who's Andy Murray?

That's means he'll never be number one.  I don't even consider people to be famous if I don't know who they are.  I'm unemployed and love rag mags so seriously.  I don't know his name--he'll never be number one.  Sorry.

  10. Until all the players that have sorely beaten him in the past retire!

  11. a Brit? forget about it....

  12. A couple, maybe 3 or 4

  13. 3yrs.

  14. i'm not sure he's ever gonna be number one... but i don't he'll be in the next 2 years

  15. How about never.

    He's not #1 material!!

  16. To be honest with you that is hard to predict as Andy Murray may have glitches in his career on his quest to become world no.1.

Injuries and lack of form may contribute to him not becoming no.1

But at a wild estimate i would say 3 years or so.

  17. till federer and nadal retire

  18. Um...Erm... Don't have a clue sorry!

  19. 1 0r 2 years. He still doesn't have the same ooomph! as Nadal

  20. 2 to 4 years

  21. Time will tell. I am not sure entirely he will be no.1-he still has plenty to do.

His first priority has to be getting to consolidating no4 ranking From there he gives himself the best oppotunity to get to atleast semi finals of big tournaments. He won his first Masters last week which was a big step in the right direction that demonstrated that he is very much just as good on his day as the likes of Djokovic Now he needs to keep up the consistancy he has shown at Toronto and Cincinnati throughout the whole year. He is a better player than both Ferrer and Davydenko but he needs to be just as consistant.

I think he will win a Grand Slam sooner than people think. I think for the US he will get a first Semi final at Grand Slam. I think he is a great contender for the Aussie next year.

The number 1 ranking is along way off. He needs to make those small steps He still has a many big strides to make. But he has the talent and now we are seeing it against the elite of men's tennis. How quickly will he make those strides? Well if he does it could be as early as next year if he ends this and starts next year in the rich, consistant vein of form he has been in since Wimbledon.

As soon as he gets to #4 it will be all down to him. It could happen by the end of next year at the earliest, the latest could be never It all depends on him. It all looks promising.

  22. 3 years
