  1. I am an average person & I haven't received one.

  2. If done right, about two years

  3. It's supposed to be a 2 year degree at 12 credit hours per semester.

This, of course, varies, dependent on whether or not one takes classes during the summer as well, or whether or not one is having trouble with some of their classes. For example, because I switched from a degree in medical transcription to an A.A. degree, and then had a lot of trouble with my algebra, it took me 8 semesters, three of them summer, so about three years.

More and more students, these days, are taking longer than what they should because they're having trouble in one area or another because they just barely passed those classes in high school, or because they're changing majors.

  4. 1 1/2 to 2 years.. They are called two year degrees.
