  1. About 6 years.

  2. You can find out by going to http://www.collegeitt.com and put up an application for a college, they will explain to you how many years etc!  Good Luck!

  3. 4 years for a Bachelor's degree

    1 or 2 additional years for a Master's degree

It depends on what college you are looking at.  Get a brochure or look at their website and see what classes you would have to take.

  4. The state of Texas requires either a teaching degree or a Bachelor's degree and certification through an alternative teaching program.

  5. You will need a bachelors degree (typically 4 years). There are relatively new rules out there that also require you to get your masters within 5-10 years of getting your bachelors (as short as 2 years).

You will also have to be certified.

  6. Depends on the srtate and what you want to teach. You will need a bachelors degree for sure. In the state of Ca, you need to take the CBEST and then you can start substitute teaching. To be a permanent teacher, you will need to go to school for about 2 years to get credentialled. In the interim, depends on your experience, you could do both go to school as an intern and teach. This would be allowed after you get your bachelots and pass the CBEST.
