How many years have they been making the annual Kentuckey Derby glasses I always see in antique shops?

  1. They have been in production since 1938. The first mint julep glasses were actually water glasses. In 1939, Libbey Glass Company started making them have colors, so the mint julep was put in the glass. They didn't have production through 1942-1944 because of war. In 1945, Libbey started producing again. From then on, the mint julep glasses have been a tradition!
