How many years in jail?

do you recive if you are convicted for carring a un licensed gun? And how many years do you recive for robbery or attempted robery?

  1. Check your states penal code on line. It also depends on prior convictions. If prior convictions are an issue for the same or related offenses, look at the upper limits on terms in the penal code.

    if they are involved in a crime with the gun, I believe the absolute minimum is 5 years...realistically about 15 years.

  4. I would say 5 years for the gun, and depending on the state more time for each bullet in the magazine and even more time for one in the chamber. Up to 10 years for robbery or attempted robbery.

Well, you can only receive up to a year in jail...the rest goes to prison or the department of corrections.  Every jurisdiction differs just enough to where we can't give you a specific time frame without knowing where you are talking about, but either way, ARMED ROBBERY would be a LONG stay in your state's prison systems!
