Im thinking of acting next year and i want to start acting lessons how many years is good enough for acting lessons?

A lifetime.  Have you ever watched Everybody Loves Raymond?  The actress who played Ray's mother, Doris Roberts, is in her 70's and she still takes acting classes every week.  You never quit learning as an actor.  

The fact that you're asking this kind of a question makes me wonder - do you want to be an actor, or do you want to be famous?  They aren't the same thing.

a good actor will continue learning even after they are making a living as an actor.  famous actors like Will Smith still have acting teachers and coaches help them on the set of their movies.
