  1. They haven't discovered it all yet.

  2. My college Geology teacher said there was about 40 years left.

She also said that it's possible to run cars, machines, etc. with alcohol (not the kind you drink...). It's possible, but because the oil industry is so huge and profitable, and because we're so dependent upon it, we're not going to change. Alcohol would be a lot cleaner and cheaper, though...

  3. Shouldnt use coal its really bad for the environment

  4. most "estimates" I've seen (for north America only) put it at around 200 years before we have to look for new sources.

but it varies a lot because its not discussed (or published)much.

the U.S. air force is starting a plan to fuel 1/2 its planes on oil from coal by 2025 to make it less dependent on foreign oil sources but that's very subject to political changes over the next 15 years.

we can also make high grade gasoline from natural gas which the U.S. has plenty off.

the process was patented 84 years ago by Frank Phillips (Phillips 66) & was used to make high test aviation gasoline for piston engined aircraft for many years.

  5. hello!

    good ouestion

the answer is nearly 24 years

  6. Thousands.  There is almost a never ending supply of coal.

  7. Study nature and U would know that there is no end to our fossil fuels. The plants take in CO2 and give us the O2 but it keeps the C. Later when the plants leaves die they will deteriorate into OIL & GAS & COAL. Fossil fuel is not animal but plant. All oils come from plants, yes even the fat in the dinasauers.
