How many years of college does it take to become a lawyer? 7 years?

7-8 years:

4-Bachelors (UNDERGRAD. LEVEL)

3-4- Law school (GRADUATE LEVEL)

  1. To go into law school you need a Bachelors which generally takes 4 years. Beyond that many law schools have different programs which generally vary from 2-3 years. So in total it might take 6-7 years if you go into law school straight out of college.

    Again, it all depends on the program you go into in law school.
