how many years of college would I have to complete to become a Child therapist that works in a children's hospital?

4-6, your best bet is to go for your Masters.  Which would be for a child life specialist.  If you want to become a therapist it will have to take 8 years.....

My cousin is a child psychologist.  It took him like 8 years; around there.

He recently got fired because he discovered the management was swindling the funding money from the children.  He confronted them and he got fired.

He's planning to sue, I hope he wins.

If you just want a bachelors, which is honestly all you need to be an occupational therapist, it will take about 4 years assuming you take a full-time load every year. If you want to attend part-time, then thats when it becomes 6.

The only other instance it would be 6-8 years is if you wanted a masters degree.

You can get hired as a occupational therapist with just a bachelors.

You will need a basic four-year degree and than at least two years of post-graduate work in your specialty. You will probably be able to intern during your post-graduate courses. How high you want to go in the field depends on you.
