  1. Depends on the company you are working with...and their specific rules.  If you are under Part 121 the mandatory age was raised to 65... but they can and will offer early retirement, and right now... there are a lot of guys that are taking the money and running as fast as they can. You can fly commercially as long as you hold the medical and pass your checkrides (but not under Part 121 ops)  i.e.  no mandatory age to get booted out.
